💡 About the role
We’re growing our government sales team and are looking for someone with an interest in how the government builds and delivers services and innovations to the public to join in the fun.

You’ll be based in our head office in Brisbane and responsible for spreading Askable into areas uncharted - helping to grow our existing roster of government clients across Australia and New Zealand.

🛠 What you’ll do
- Getting potential users to try (and love) Askable
- Selling to the full spectrum of Government departments and agencies across the local, state and federal levels
- Driving account development & revenue growth
- Working jointly with our customers to align their desired outcomes with solution roadmaps
- Bouncing from meetings (both face-to-face and remote)
- Creating proposals and quotes
- Traveling interstate in Australia for the odd conference
- Completing vendor / supplier agreements
- Writing brilliant responses to RFQs and ATMs for Government Projects
- Attending events, meetups and conferences
- Ensuring that the broader research and product communities know and love Askable!

🦉 Skills and experience you’ll bring
To hit the ground running in this role you’ll need at least 1-2 years working as a sales exec, account manger (or similar role).
It would also be ideal if you have:
- Experience with sales frameworks. Bonus points if you’ve read and worked with The Challenger Sale and The Sales Acceleration Formula
- Experience working with or in government organisations (as we know government operates a little differently 🙃)
- Experience selling a tech product / software as a service
